My name is Margaret  Van Damme, owner of Van Damme Weddings. I started this blog site dedicated to Vineyard Weddings in Sedona and Southern Arizona. Arizona has a growing number of vineyards producing great wines. As a lover of good food, great wine and creating beautiful weddings and events this feels like the next step; bringing brides to beautiful vineyards for their weddings.

There is something perfectly romantic about a vineyard wedding — and not just in the Napa Valley.

The Wall Street Journal recently applauded Sedona and the adjacent Verde Valley as an emerging vineyard hotspot, vying for Napa-like status.  The vineyards in this North-Central Arizona oasis, as well as those in Southern Arizona, are rapidly earning a worldwide reputation.

According to the Arizona Wine Growers Association, climate and soil studies have revealed that the Southern region is similar to Ribera Del Duero in Spain, Southeastern Australia, and Southern France.  It is almost identical to that of Paso Robles, California.

I am excited about supporting and buying locally produced wines and introducing them to guests from out of State.
